What do hipster beards, vinyl records, and semaphore have in common? They are all in the BSA’s newest merit badge pamphlet! Just kidding. Only the last one is. But what they really have in common is that these throwbacks have made a comeback. With the new release of the Signs, Signals, and Codes merit badge, Scouts can communicate via morse code, semaphore, and emojis – and that’s just skimming the surface.
